About me

I am 12 years old. I go to Aberdeen Middle School home of the Tigers!! I have been singing for my whole life and won first place in Aberdeen Idol. I have been playing the clarinet for 2 years now and piano for 7 years ( but i not as good as i should be probly because I dont practice :) I have been Dancing for 6 years and I love it!!! My best friends are Kamille, Isela , Shelbey, Louise, Kadda and my sisters , Erin , Kristi , Ashley, Emily and My mom and dad and all my brothers Adam , Joel , Derek , Mark , Austin and Ian! The best present in the world was my rabbit Radar, he is also my best friend! Teton and Treasure are the best horses in the world also my best friends!! :)

I blogged this once and it got erased so here is the story of my "Treasure". We saw an ad on the Utah classifieds from a lady in Utah named Denise. She was looking for someone between 12 to 18 years of age to give a horse to. We started writing to her and found out she was going to make the decision of whom to give the horse to on July 30th-one day before my 12th birthday! We kept writing to her back and forth and finally she said she had gotten about 200 letters from girls but it had come down to me and one other autistic girl. She decided that the autistic girl was the one who was going to get her horse-"Saraphin". Then they found out that the horse was pregnant and going to have a baby in March. When Denise tried to contact the people with the autistic girl, they never answered back so Denise said we could get her. My Mom and I drove down to Salt Lake, actually South Jordan, and met Denise and Saraphin. She is a beautiful horse with dark brown eyes. We changed her name because I kept calling her Saffron. One day my mom said "I hope Denise knows how much we treasure this horse that she gave us." and that is where the name came from and has since stuck. She is a funny horse. Denise told us when we go to bridle her that she will run from us. She does until she has decided that she is ready to let you put it on, then she stops in her tracks, looks at you like "come on now, what's taking you so long?!" She has corrupted Teton into being as aloof and snooty as she is, but we love her to pieces. She is getting used to me now and will let me crawl under her, put the halter on her, pet her face, and come to me when I want to put her blanket on-if I have a treat! She will always be "the lady" to me. Thanks so much Denise for such a great horse!

My Best Friends!

I have amazing friends! And I want to tell you about them.Steven Settlemyer is a really good friend of mine. He is an autistic boy who has a very fun spirit! He is an amazing drawer. If you ask him to draw a picture for you he will draw it and it will look exactly how you want it to look! Tonya Dawson is very fun! She is in alot of plays and she sings her part very well and does a good job acting. Kamille Foster is a very good piano player she can play alot of church songs and alot of fun songs! She is really funny also! Isela Carrillo has a great personality! She is very good at basketball and is funny and confident and tells really fun stories! Shelby Warren is an awsome Ballerina! She is a very hard worker in dance class and at school.She is a very good singer! And that leaves my dog Samson who is a sweetie pie and also likes to ride on the mule in the front seat! He loves to go on walks with you and everthing! And i love him so much!

Teton!

This week one of my biggest dreams have come true! I got a HORSE!! I have wanted a horse ever since we gave away Jackson.(Our horse six years ago). Ever since then I have been trying to talk my dad into getting one. In October 2006, there was a add in the news paper about tryouts for Aberdeen Idol. If you won the prize it would be $300! So I was thinking if i win i can start saving up to get a horse. Well ,the night before Aberdeen Idol tryouts, my mom told me to go to bed so I could be well rested and have tons of energy to sing. I couldn't sleep because I was to excited so i decided to go and watch T.V. Then after 3 minutes of watching I heard my mom yell my name. I walked upstairs to ask what my mom what she wanted. She was mad because i did n't go to bed and then she told me that i was grouded and that i could not try out for Aberdeen Idol. Then i went to the bedroom upstairs and cried myself to sleep. The next day i was so mad that i could not even talk i kept givving glares to my mom and see if she would give in but that never happened.Then it was Sunday and so i was still sad that i didnt tryout for the contest. Later in church, Amber Park ( really good friend) came up to me and ask me if i tried out for the contest. I said no, and told her i was grounded. Then she told me that there was another audition for it. I hurried and ran to my mom and ask her if i could do it. And she said yes, but on one condition. To go to bed early every night. I gave her a big bear hug and thanked her and ran off. Three nights of fun competition and nerves. The last off the night they were announcing the winners and calling there names. It was between me and Jordan Harker(really good and fun friend!). Then he came in second and i came in first out of fifteen. I was very exicited and i was having a blast! When i got the i knew exactly where it was going. My horse fund. And i saved my money and as going to by a horse. A year past and i still didnt cash the check yet and so I decided to buy a silk blanket. It is a really pretty purple and has the Nauvoo Temple on it. And the on Saturday,July 19 2008 , my brother in law Mark was looking on ksl.com at a house and then he looked up horses and saw a really pretty horse named Harley. Was a really pretty brown color and a maane and tail that was a dark red. He ws beatiful and very sweet. And so we bought him and now his name is Teton! he is very nice and cute i wil post so pictures!!!

Aladdin Jr.

A month ago I tried out for the play Aladdin Jr. I sang my best on all of the songs and tried to do my best on the script.Then all we had to do was wait.It felt like for ever waiting for the cast list.She said that she would put the cast list out on Thursday the next week.So Shelbey(my best friend) and I waited until Thursday to come. So when Thursday came Shelbey and I ran to the Drama classroom as fast as we could to see what we got.We ran straight up to her and asked her if she had the cast list.She said that she was really busy and stressed out.Then she said she would put it up in her doorway tommorow.Another long day to wait.Right after school my parents picked me up and went to a Woodbadge meeting and that was fun and we ate and talked it was just a perfect meeting. Then the next day I got really sick and I missed the next day of school and it was the day that the cast list was being posted. I was very sad but my drama teacher is in the same church ward as me so I would ask her then. As Sunday came we went to church at 8:30 and right when I walked in and I saw her standing right at the doorway of the chapel.I walked up to her and she said that I had got the main part of Aladdin and I was Jasmine! I was so excited that I was screaming in my head and I was also astonished at the same time.So now we are starting to do practices,doing the dances,and memorizing all of our parts. I just am so excited to do this play. Tommorrow I am going to take pictures of all of the cast and our drama teacher and put them on my blog!
